Every office has their jokers - now it's time to teach everyone how to be a joker. 

This is a half day event that ideally should run into the evening, but doesn't have to. The format is as follows:

A professional comedian will first of all go through what makes someone and something funny, from real life situations to traditional jokes, and will teach the group about timing and presentation. The teams then split up and discuss between each other what they think will be funny. The teams then pick their jokers or joker to represent them. 

The comedian becomes compere, and introduces each comedian one by one for a 5 minute sketch (it will feel like 5 hours from their point). The aim is not to heckle, or make anyone look or feel silly. It's to show team support, and demonstrate that most people find the same things funny. 

A worthwhile add on to this event is to do the show over a meal - it gives the teams more time to prepare, and the professional comedian can also do a bit of stand up to entertain the group.
