Walk back in time to an era of damsels in distress, villainous cads, heroic knights, maidens and servants. The medieval banquet is an indulgent festival of fun and laughter, where guests are encouraged to dress up in theme as kings, queens, knights squires and princesses. 

The tale starts with a medieval band - and possibly a few pickpockets - at the banquet reception. Your king then bellows for you to join him for the feast (a feast fit for a king, of course) where depending on your venue, several medieval courses or a sumptuous carvery awaits you.  

During dinner, one knight finds a fair maiden (normally one of the guests) and decides to woo her. Sir Gallant the brave will jump to the defence of the maiden's honour, and battle commences. The expert swordsmen will amaze you with some well choreographed fighting scenes, lasting until the maiden's honour is restored.

After dinner, you may want to waltz to some music of a long forgotten era, or get a little more modern with a disco - the choice is yours.
